Harriet Mutonyi is an educator and independent consultant based in Uganda with a great passion for teaching, research and service and a desire to impact the sector of education. Prior to becoming an independent consultant, Harriet was Associate Professor at Uganda Martyrs University. Her speciality is curriculum and instructional design and she has worked at both secondary and Higher Education levels. She has written vastly about issues related to gender and education, HIV/AIDS; literacy challenges; and higher education in general and science education in particular. Harriet is involved with two projects that are responding to the need to transform Higher Education, PEDAL (Pedagogical leadership in Africa) and TESCEA (Transforming Employability for Social Change in East Africa)
