An equitable knowledge ecosystem must include the voices of women and men

To get the most relevant research and the best ideas and solutions we need a research system that nurtures and advances the careers of all aspiring researchers, whatever their gender, wherever they are based, and whatever

their socio-economic background. This is a report about the experiences of early career researchers – women and men – and how these experiences are gendered. It is a “voices of” report, because it is designed to present what researchers themselves say about their hopes, concerns, successes, and difficulties.
