Albert Luswata

Dr Albert Luswata is a Senior Lecturer in Ethics and former Director of the Institute of Ethics at Uganda Martyrs University. He is an AI and faith expert. Previously, he served as Head of the Department of Development Studies at Uganda Martyrs University (Rome). Albert is a former Fulbright Research Scholar at Boston University.

Albert has been involved in the training of faculty in online and transformative teaching both at Uganda Martyrs University and across other African universities through the TESCEA (Transforming Employability for Social Change in East Africa) and PedaL (Pedagogical leadership in Africa) projects. He was also a MEL team leader in the TESCEA and PedaL projects which ran from 2018-2021. 

In addition to ethics, Albert's research interests are in the areas of higher education partnerships, transformative teaching & learning, and gender responsive pedagogy.
