Programme Assistant

Maisie joined INASP in June 2023 as a Programme Assistant. Her work primarily supports our cooperation with Sida, which seeks to build and strengthen an engaged online peer community, that meets the needs of women and men early career researchers. Maisie is a part of the AuthorAID team at INASP. Previously, her work provided support to the Global Platforms for Equitable Knowledge Ecosystems project, which sought to build stronger and more equitable research systems.

Maisie has a Master’s degree in Global Development from the University of Leeds, and a First Class undergraduate degree in Anthropology and International Relations from the University of Aberdeen. She has previously worked to support equitable access to Higher Education institutions in Scotland, and has held several support and advocacy volunteer positions.
